AP Credit Policy
Marymount University participates in the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Program and awards college credit to entering students with qualifying scores. Applicants who seek advanced placement because they have taken one or more of the Advanced Placement Examinations must have the examination results sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions prior to enrollment. Advanced credit earned in this manner by entering first-years and transfers may fulfill Liberal Arts Core or major requirements. Current students' official reports must be mailed to the Office of the Registrar by the College Board. The examinee copy cannot be used to assign credit. Credit will not be assigned for exams that duplicate coursework previously completed.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.
