Located on a 710-acre campus on the South Coast of Massachusetts, UMass Dartmouth features modern athletic facilities, a new campus quad and significant open space with woods, ponds and trails. The campus is located 15 minutes from area beaches, 30 minutes from Cape Cod and less than an hour from Boston. With more than 100 undergraduate and 40 graduate fields of study, UMass Dartmouth offers a comprehensive array of programs to prepare students for the future of work. The university is well-known for its programs in the humanities and the visual and performing arts, and it has forged strong connections between its engineering, business and marine science programs and the merging Blue economy on the South Coast. The University of Massachusetts School of Law-Dartmouth is a public law school part of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and is located on a separate campus in Dartmouth. It is the only public law school in Massachusetts.
