A. Joe Hemphill, Jr. Scholarship program recognizes graduating seniors from Charles D. Owen, Madison, and McDowell high schools in North Carolina. Students who participate in extracurricular activities and are seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in forestry management or environmental sciences in North Carolina or Tennessee are welcome to apply.
