The A.B. and M.R. Noel Endowed Scholarship is available to a graduating senior or graduates of Wood River Rural High School in Wood River, Nebraska. Students who plan to attend Central Community College in Columbus, Grand Island, or Hastings, Nebraska or Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska are welcome to apply. Current nursing students at these schools are also encouraged to apply. Special consideration will be given to seniors or graduates of Wood River Rural High School in Wood River, Nebraska.

  • Minimum 3.00 GPA

  • Current nursing student at Central Community College in Columbus, Grand Island, or Hastings, Nebraska or Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, **OR**
  • Attending or plan to attend Central Community College in Columbus, Grand Island, or Hastings Nebraska or Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to seniors or graduates of Wood River Rural High School in Wood River, Nebraska who demonstrate merit through involvement in extracurricular activities and seek an associate degree in nursing, dental hygiene, or electrical technology.
