Requirements
  • This program is open to students entering their junior year in physics, engineering, or materials science at an accredited institution in the United States.
  • Applicants must submit a description of their long and short-term professional objectives, including their research interests related to accelerator aspects of nuclear science and engineering.
  • Selection is based on that statement, faculty recommendations, and academic performance.
  • Special consideration is given to members of underrepresented groups (women and minorities), students who can demonstrate financial need, and applicants who have a record of service to the American Nuclear Society (ANS).
