The ACEC Metro Washington Scholarship is available to undergraduate students at the sophomore level or above and graduate students who either attend an eligible college or university or reside in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Students studying engineering fields, including aerospace, agricultural, architectural, biomedical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, mechanical, petroleum, software, surveying and geomatics, structural, systems, and other engineering disciplines, are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree
  • Studying engineering, including aerospace, agricultural, architectural, bioengineering, biomedical, biological, ceramic, chemical/biochemical/biomolecular, civil, communications, computer, construction, cybersecurity, electrical and electronics, environmental, fire protection, forest, geological, industrial, manufacturing, materials, mechanical, mining, naval architecture and marine, nuclear and radiological, ocean, optical, petroleum, software, surveying and geomatics, structural, systems, telecommunications, engineering physics, engineering science, or general engineering
  • Attend school or resident of District of Columbia, Montgomery or Prince George's counties, Maryland, or Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, or Prince William counties, and all cities and towns therein, Virginia
