The Achievement Scholarship for Students with a History of Chronic Illness is available to graduating seniors or graduates of a high school in Delaware. Students who have experienced a health-related issue that has impeded the student's pursuit of their education are welcome to apply. Students enrolled in the First State School or any of its branches before or at the time the health-related issue occurred will be given special consideration.

Requirements
  • Experienced a health-related issue that lasted at least six months and is documented by a medical professional
  • Resident of Delaware
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Graduated from high school in Delaware
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to those enrolled in the First State School or any of its branches before or at the time the healthrelated issue occurred.
