The AFA Leader and Academic Scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors and current college students who are seeking a bachelor's degree in agriculture or a food-related program. Those who plan to pursue a career in the food, agriculture, and/or natural resources industries are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Graduating high school senior or current college student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree in agriculture or a foodrelated program in the U.S. as a full-time student
  • Aged 1725 during AFA Leaders Conference attendance (November of the selection year)
  • Demonstrate interest in food, agriculture, and/or natural resources
  • Plan to pursue a career in the food, agriculture, and/or natural resources industries
  • Exhibit leadership in community involvement
  • Demonstrate financial need
