AFCEA Student Member Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate student members of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) who are working on a degree in a field of STEM of interest to the association.

Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time sophomores and juniors at 4-year colleges and universities who are AFCEA members, either student members or Junior Enlisted members.
  • Applicants must be working on a degree in biometrics, computer forensics science, computer programming, computer science, cyber security, engineering (computer, electrical, electronics, network, robotics, telecommunications), geospatial science, information technology, information resources management, mathematics, network security, operations research, physics, robotics, statistics, or strategic intelligence at a school in any state.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based primarily on demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and financial need.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
