The AGA Virginia Peninsula Government Accountability Scholarship is open to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students who live on the Virginia Peninsula. Students pursuing a public service career in government financial management and accountability are encouraged to apply. Those attending universities based in Hampton Roads receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore, the Middle Peninsula, or the Northern Neck of Virginia
  • College junior, senior, or graduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree
  • Studying in finance, accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial reporting, performance reporting, grants management, contract management, business administration, business analytics, or public administration
  • Fulltime student
  • Planning to pursue a career in public service
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Participation in community service or extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students attending universities based in Hampton Roads.
