The AHIMA Veteran's Scholarship is available to members of the American Health Information Management Association. U.S. Armed Forces and Uniformed Service members and their spouses are eligible to apply. Students who are seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree in a health program will be considered.

  • Member or spouse of the U.S. Armed or Uniformed Services - Active duty, veteran, wounded warriors, and surviving spouses
  • Member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Seeking an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree
  • Enrolled in a health program accredited by CAHHIIM in the U.S.
  • Have at least 12 credit hours remaining after the award date
