The AIA Central Valley/John Ellis Architectural Scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate students, and adult re-entry students seeking a degree in architecture. Students who are attending or currently attending schools in designated counties in the central valley of California are encouraged to apply. Students attending a community college receive special consideration.

  • Minimum 3.50 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior, undergraduate, graduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree fulltime
  • Studying architecture
  • Have attended or currently attending school in one of the 17 designated counties in California Preference is given to students attending a community college.
