The AIA Central Valley/John Ellis Architectural Scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate students, and adult re-entry students who are seeking a degree in architecture. Students enrolled or entering schools in designated counties in the central valley of California are encouraged to apply. Students attending a community college receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.50 GPA
  • Resident of Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Shasta, Sierra, Sutter, Tehama, Yolo, or Yuba counties, California
  • High school senior, undergraduate, graduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree
  • Studying architecture
  • Fulltime student Preference is given to students attending a community college.
