Requirements
  • This program is open to full- and part-time students enrolled in 1 of the following programs: a graduate or undergraduate degree ABET-accredited program under the Industrial Hygiene Program Criteria, Occupational Health Criteria, or the Environmental, Health, and Safety Program Criteria; a graduate degree program accredited by CEPH as a program with a concentration in environmental health; or an industrial hygiene or similarly named program offered at a NIOSH-ERC university or NIOSH Training Project Grant recipient.
  • Applicants must submit a personal statement on why they want to be in the profession, why they are seeking a degree in industrial hygiene, where they see themselves in 5 years, and why they should receive this scholarship.
  • Selection is based on that statement, academic history, honors and awards, community and volunteer service, and relevant work experience.
