The AJN/Thelma Schorr Scholarship is available to students pursuing a graduate or doctoral degree in nursing. Current members of a national professional nursing association, such as the American Nurses Association, or of an international nursing honor society, including Sigma Theta Tau International, are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to those who will advocate for nursing through speaking or writing.

Resident of the U.S.

Graduate, doctoral, or medical student

Seeking a graduate, medical degree, or Ph.D full or parttime

Studying nursing

Current registered nurse license

U.S. citizen or permanent resident Preference is given to those who will advocate for nursing through speaking or writing.
