AJPHA Youth Member of the Year recognizes and rewards outstanding members of the American Junior Paint Horse Association (AJPHA).

Requirements
  • This program is open to current AJPHA members who are 18 years of age or younger.
  • Candidates must be nominated by an American Paint Horse Association (APHA) or AJPHA regional club.
  • Selection is based on 1) local, regional, and national AJPHA activities; 2) additional horserelated activities; 3) volunteer work in the community that is horse related; 4) additional community activities, jobs, or volunteer work; 5) special efforts and accomplishments in promoting the Paint Horse (other than showing in an APHA-approved show); and 6) school activities.
