Alabama G.I. Dependent Scholarship Program

About the Scholarship

The Alabama G.I. Dependent Scholarship Program is available to the children, stepchildren, spouses, and un-remarried widows or widowers of qualified U.S. Armed Service veterans from Alabama who were killed, declared missing in action, held as prisoners of war, or disabled due to military service. Students who are current residents of Alabama and pursuing undergraduate studies at eligible colleges and universities are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen based on entitlement through veteran service and disability status.
