The Alan and Rita Shugart Scholarship is awarded to students from the Monterey Bay area of California who are studying for a degree in science, technology, engineering, business, or entrepreneurship. Students who participate in extracurricular activities related to sports, music, the arts, theater, engineering, business, or entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply.
