Alaska Sea Service Scholarship provides financial assistance to spouses and dependent children of naval personnel in Alaska who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens who are 1) dependents or direct descendants of an active, Reserve, retired, or honorably discharged member of the U.S. sea service (including the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Merchant Marine); or 2) currently an active member of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps.

Applicants must be high school seniors in Alaska entering their freshman year at an accredited college or university.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
