The Alfreda Niewig Nursing Scholarship offers graduating high school seniors from the Orange Unified School District (OUSD) financial assistance for college. Students planning to seek a professional certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree in nursing or another health-related field are welcome to apply. Members, their immediate family members, and the extended family of the Assistance League of Orange, other local assistance leagues, or auxiliaries are not eligible to apply.
