All Iowa Opportunity Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The All Iowa Opportunity Scholarship supports the educational goals of Iowa residents who attend or are planning to attend an eligible Iowa college or university. Students who are pursuing a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. Priority is given to students who age out of Iowa’s foster care system, age out of the State Training School, and students adopted from Iowa’s foster care system after age 16; children of deceased public safety workers, students who participated in certain federal TRIO programs while in high school, students who graduated from alternative high schools or alternative high school programs, and students who participated in a Federal GEAR UP Grant program in Iowa.
