The Allen Bess Instrumental Music Scholarship is open to graduating seniors from Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, Missouri who are planning to pursue a degree in instrumental music in college. Students who have participated in orchestra, marching band, concert band, pep band, or jazz band are encouraged to apply. Students who demonstrate financial need receive special consideration.
