The Allen-Sprinkle Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to legally blind residents of West Virginia who are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements
  • Must be legally blind.
  • Resident of Virginia who are graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, or graduate students.
  • Enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime.
  • Accredited college, university, postsecondary vocational institute, or graduate school in any state.
  • Selection is based on academic excellence, community service, and financial need. The winner is expected to attend the annual convention of the National Federation of the Blind of West Virginia.
