Alliance for Women in Media Austin Scholarship provides financial assistance to upper-division and graduate students who are working on a degree in a field related to broadcasting at a school in the Austin or San Marcos area of Texas.

Requirements

This program is open to full-time juniors, seniors, and graduate students who have completed at least 60 hours of course work at a college or university in the Austin or San Marcos area of Texas.

Applicants must be working on a degree in radio, television, film, digital media, public relations, advertising, marketing, communications, or broadcasting.

They must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher overall or 3.0 or higher in courses in their declared major.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
