About the Scholarship

The Alma Murphy Dixie Darlings Scholarship is for students seeking a degree at The University of Southern Mississippi. Applicants who are members of Dixie Darling are encouraged to apply. Students pursuing a degree in education are given preference. If the Dixie Darlings cease to exist the scholarship shall be awarded to a student who is a member of the Pride who meets the other criteria. If the Pride cease to exist, this scholarship shall be awarded to student majoring in Education who meets the other criteria.
