The American Electric Power Scholarship program supports college juniors and seniors seeking a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Applicants should exhibit the potential to contribute to the mechanical engineering profession. Students who demonstrate an interest in power engineering or reside or attend school in the American Electric Power service areas of Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia are given special consideration.
