Requirements
  • This program is open to American Indians who are high school graduates (or the equivalent) and enrolled full-time in a nursing program at an accredited school.
  • Applicants must have maintained the scholastic average required by their school, be recommended by their counselor or school officer, not be receiving an Indian Health Service Scholarship, have a career goal directly related to the needs of the Indian people, and be in financial need.
  • They must expect to graduate within 2 years if in an associate degree program or within 4 years if in a bachelor's degree program; graduate students are also eligible.
