American Nuclear Society Undergraduate Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate students who are interested in preparing for a career in nuclear science or nuclear engineering.

Requirements

Eligible to apply are undergraduate students enrolled in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field at an accredited institution in the United States.

Applicants must have completed at least 2 academic years.

They must be members of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and sponsored by the faculty adviser of an ANS student chapter or an individual ANS member, but they may be citizens of any country.

Along with their essay, they must submit a personal statement of their future plans.

Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, and letters of recommendation.
