Requirements
  • This program is open to people in any of the following categories: 1) individual or family members of the AWAW who are high school seniors or older; 2) participants in an American Saddlebred academy program; 3) participants in 4-H Saddlebred projects; or 4) students enrolled in a horse science program.
  • Applicants must be planning to attend a college, university, or technical school in any state.
  • Selection is based on character, academic record, intellectual promise, and demonstrated ambition and leadership in school, church, or community activities.
