AMR/Paramedic Burton Smith Memorial Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The AMR/Paramedic Burton Smith Memorial Scholarship was named to honor past Sonoma County, California paramedic Burton Smith, who desired to serve and help others with a soft heart. The scholarship offers financial assistance to college freshmen and sophomores at Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC). Students studying for a professional certification or associate degree in emergency medical technician (EMT) or paramedic studies are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students from historically underrepresented populations.
