The Allegheny Mountain Section Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate students in West Virginia and western Pennsylvania who are interested in preparing for a career in the environmental field.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students currently enrolled and high school seniors accepted full-time in a 4- or 5-year college or university program that will lead to a career in environmental science, environmental engineering, or environmental law.
  • Applicants must be residents of western Pennsylvania or West Virginia and attending or planning to attend a college or university in the region.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on academic record, plan of study, career goals, recommendations, and extracurricular activities; consideration is not given to sex, race, national origin, financial need, age, or physical disability.
