The Ann Howard Brookshire Presidential Honors Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen students who are planning to attend Tyler Junior College and are employees of Brookshire’s or their dependents are eligible to apply. Recipients will be expected to participate in the Presidential Honors Program.

Requirements
  • Employee of Brookshire’s, or their dependent
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA, AND meet one of the following: ACT 26, with a minimum of 19 on both English and math subtests, minimum overall SAT (old) score of 1200 (minimum 500 on math and reading sub-tests), minimum SAT (new) evidence-based reading and writing score of 650, minimum SAT math score of 620)

  • High school senior
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
