The ANSWER Scholarship is open to nontraditional female students who are raising school-age children in the 12 county service area of North and South Carolina. Students seeking a bachelor's degree in any field or an associate degree in nursing at any college in North or South Carolina, or an associate degree in business and accounting, construction and trades, design and architecture, engineering, healthcare, information technology, and mathematics and science at Central Piedmont Community College are eligible to apply.

Requirements

Resident of Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly, or Union counties, North Carolina, or Lancaster or York counties, South Carolina

Studying for a bachelor's degree in any subject, **OR**

Studying for an associate degree in nursing at any community college, **OR**

Studying for an associate degree in nursing, business and accounting, construction & trades, design & architecture, engineering, healthcare, information technology, or mathematics & science at Central Piedmont Community College

Fulltime student

Planning to attend school in North Carolina or South Carolina
