The Arleigh Burke Trust Scholarship is awarded to children or spouses of USS Arleigh Burke U.S. Navy crew members. Students who have participated in extracurricular activities and demonstrate character are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Child or spouse of a U.S. Navy sailor who is on active duty, retired, or honorably discharged, who served on the USS Arleigh Burke for at least 1 year

Resident of the U.S.

Seeking a professional certification, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree (child/spouse), graduate degree (spouse)

Fulltime student (child) or full or part-time student (spouse)

Planning to attend school in the U.S.

Participation in extracurricular activities

Child aged 22 or younger or spouse

Exhibit merit through academic performance and character

Demonstrate financial need
