Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens between 17 and 26 years of age who have already completed 1 or 2 years in a college or university with an Army ROTC unit on campus or in a college with a cross-enrollment agreement with a college with an Army ROTC unit on campus.

Applicants must have 2 or 3 years remaining for their bachelor's degree (or 4 years of a 5year bachelor's program) and must be able to complete that degree before their 31st birthday.

They must have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher and scores of at least 1000 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT.

Scholarship winners must serve fulltime in the Army for 4 years. They may elect to serve part-time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career.
