About the Scholarship

The Safe and Welcoming Public Schools, Communities, and Families Award supports graduate Counseling students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale who promote healthy youth development, positive school and family environments, diversity, and social justice. Special consideration is given to students serving financially distressed or Title I schools and communities.
