About the Scholarship

The ASHRAE James R. Bullock Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate mechanical or architectural engineering students attending ABET-accredited schools or at a school that has a student ASHRAE chapter within the geographic boundaries of ASHRAE Region IV (North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia), or who graduated from a high school in Region IV. If there are no eligible applicants in Region IV, the scholarship will be open to any full-time undergraduate engineering student who meets the Society's Undergraduate Engineering Scholarship criteria.

  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Undergraduate student
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree fulltime
  • Studying mechanical or architectural engineering
  • Attending ABETaccredited or at a school that has a student ASHRAE chapter within the geographic boundaries of ASHRAE Region IV (North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia), or graduated from a high school in Region IV
