Requirements
  • This program is open to undergraduate engineering students working on a bachelor's degree in a program recognized as accredited by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
  • Applicants must be enrolled full time in a course of study that has traditionally been preparatory for the profession of HVAC&R and that is either ABETaccredited or at a school that has a student ASHRAE chapter.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a standing in the top 30% of their class.
  • Selection is based on potential service to the HVAC&R profession, financial need, leadership ability, recommendations from instructors, and work ethics.
