Baltimore-Washington Section SWE Freshman Scholarship provides financial assistance to female high school seniors in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area who are interested in studying engineering at a college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to women graduating from high schools within designated zip codes of Baltimore and southern Maryland (206-212, 214, 216-217), Washington, D.C. (200, 202-205), and northern Virginia (201, 220-223).

Applicants must be planning to enroll in an ABET/CSAB accredited engineering program in any state.

They must be U.S. citizens and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Selection is based on merit.
