The Barry L. Carey M.D. Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors from Catholic, private, home, or public schools in the Diocese of Venice Counties in Florida. First-generation college students who participate in extracurricular activities and exhibit strong academic achievement are welcome to apply. Members or relatives of the Catholic Community Foundation staff, the Board of Directors, the Office of Catholic Schools, the Scholarship Committee, or Barry L. Carey are ineligible to apply.
