Requirements

This program is open to the children of employees and consumers of Basin Electric Power Cooperative rural electric systems.

Applicants must be high school seniors or undergraduate or graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at a 2- or 4-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state.

They must be U.S. citizens younger than 25 years of age and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Selection is based on academic record, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of education and career goals, and an outside appraisal.
