Bay Area SMACNA Scholarship provides financial assistance and possible work experience to residents of northern California who are interested in attending college in any state, especially those who plan to study a field related to the construction and/or sheet metal industry.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of northern California (Alameda, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, and Trinity counties) who are attending or planning to attend a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must agree to attend a sheet metal industry orientation program to acquaint themselves with the career opportunities available in that industry.
  • They must also agree that they understand that they may be given special consideration for an internship in that industry if they receive a scholarship.
  • A Hardship Scholarship is available to applicants who can demonstrate significant financial need.
