The Berne Davis Future Teacher Scholarship is offered to residents of Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, or Lee counties in Florida who demonstrate strong character, including integrity, responsibility, compassion, courage, perseverance, initiative, and a sense of purpose. Non-traditional students seeking a bachelor’s degree in education and pursuing a career as a teacher are eligible to be nominated for this award.
