The Better Together STEM Scholarship is available to California residents who are pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field. PG&E customers who attend or are planning to attend a 4-year institution in California, or any historically Black college or university (HBCU) are eligible to apply. Special consideration will be given to members of underrepresented STEM minority groups, such as women, Black, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian or Alaskan Native, and people with disabilities.

  • Customer of Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) or their dependent
  • Resident of California
  • Attending or planning to attend a 4year college in California or any HBCU
  • High school senior, undergraduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree
  • Studying for a degree in a STEMrelated field
  • Fulltime student
  • Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, leadership, or work
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to members of underrepresented STEM minority groups (women, Black, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian or Alaskan Native, people with disabilities.)
