The Betty Black Hatchett Scholarship is open to members of Kappa Alpha Theta at chapters in designated states. Students seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree are encouraged to apply. If no member from chapters in the eligible states applies, the award is available to collegian or alumna members who live in those states. If no resident of those states applies, the award is available to any member or alumna of Kappa Alpha Theta seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree.
