The Betty Briggs Alumni Endowed Scholarship is given to students at Tyler Junior College who are children or grandchildren of a former TJC student. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students whose parents or grandparents are active members of the TJC Alumni Association and those studying journalism, marketing, or public relations and who are not receiving significant financial aid in the form of other scholarships or grants.
