The Betty J. Bower and George F. Rudy Top Ten Scholarship 2 is available to incoming freshmen students who are planning to attend Tyler Junior College. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. Recipients will be expected to participate in the Presidential Honors Program. Special consideration is given to students studying journalism.

Requirements

Minimum 3.5 GPA, AND meet one of the following: ACT 26, with a minimum of 19 on both English and math sub-tests, minimum overall SAT (old) score of 1200 (minimum 500 on math and reading sub-tests), minimum SAT (new) evidence-based reading and writing score of 650, minimum SAT math score of 620)
