The Bill Rabbit Legacy Art Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Cherokee Nation or United Keetoowah band in Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Delaware, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Ottawa, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington, or Nowata counties in Oklahoma. Students seeking a bachelor's degree in fine arts, drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, traditional beadwork, textiles, or art education are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Member of the Cherokee Nation or United Keetoowah Band

Minimum 3.00 GPA

Resident of Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Delaware, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner, or Washington counties, Oklahoma

Enrolled at a 4year college or university

Undergraduate student

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Studying art education that focuses on drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, traditional beadwork, and textiles

Fulltime student

American Indian or Alaska Native, and with Cherokee ancestry
