The Bill Waeltz Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Austin Community College students interested in transferring to a 4-year university to obtain a bachelor's degree. in civil engineering or a related engineering field. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Round Rock ISD high school graduates receive special consideration.

  • High school graduate with B or higher average in math/science or with equivalent GED scores
  • Enrolled in the engineering degree program, A & E CAD civil engineering specialization, or taking core coursework at Austin Community College
  • Intending to transfer to a 4year university
  • U.S. citizen or legal noncitizen resident
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who graduated from a Round Rock ISD high school.
