The Bob and Carole Lent Scholarship Fund supports students from public high schools in Duluth, Minnesota, Superior, Wisconsin, as well as nontraditional students or those with a GED, who plan to attend a public college in the Duluth–Superior region. Special consideration is given to students pursuing a career in a vocational or technical field, early childhood education or special education.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.00 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Attend Duluth Area Learning Center, Duluth Denfeld, Duluth East, or Superior high schools (Duluth, Minnesota), Hermantown High School (Hermantown, Minnesota), Proctor High School (Proctor Minnesota), **OR**
  • Nontraditional/GED student
  • High school senior, undergraduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Planning to attend Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, Lake Superior College, Mesabi Range College, University of Minnesota Duluth, University of Wisconsin Superior, or Northwood Technical College
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference will be given to students pursuing a career in a vocational or technical field, early childhood education or special education.
