The Brave of Heart Scholarship is available to children, spouses, and domestic partners of a healthcare worker, volunteer, or support staff whose life was lost in the fight against COVID-19. Students who are seeking a certificate or undergraduate degree in any field, or students pursuing a graduate degree in a patient-facing medical field are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.00 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior, undergraduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking a certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree in any field, **OR**
  • Seeking a graduate degree in a patientfacing healthcare field such as medical school, nursing, or health science in physician assistant
  • Full or parttime student
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Spouse, domestic partner, or child (age 25 or younger) of a healthcare worker, volunteer, or support staff whose life was lost in the fight against COVID19
